Mr Norman Bollinger is the founding customs broker of the company. He is in semi-retirement but he continues to have an active involvement in a consultative role and also assists with applications for Tariff Concessions. Barry and Brian are his twin sons.

Mr Brian Bollinger is a Customs Broker and Company Director and has been with the company since 1972 and oversaw all aspects of our operation. Brian has built up a wealth of knowledge and can still be relied upon to give sound advice on even the most unusual enquiries. (Brian is currently on extended sick leave and we hope he will be back with us soon.)

Mr Barry Bollinger (Brian's Twin Brother) is a Part Owner,  the Managing Director and co-ordinates our Import Freight Forwarding. He has been with us since 1992 (after spending 15 years in Papua New Guinea,as a science teacher, the last few as a high school Headmaster and then an Inspector). Barry also conducts market research to assist our clients with sourcing new supplier's and markets.

Mr Matthew Bollinger (Barry's son) is a Part Owner and Director. Matthew also mans our Customs Clearence Department. He has been with Bollinger's in a full time capacity since 2002. He is a graduate of Newcastle University's School of International Business Studies. In addition he is also a graduate of RMC Duntroon. Prior to joining the company, Matthew worked overseas in various development banking, engineering and education posts. As well as Army Reserve commitments Matthew plays for the local rugby union team and enjoys a variety of outdoor persuits, including being co-owner of KoTrek (Guided Kokoda Treks) www.kotrek.com

Mr Peter Willars is our Export Manager. He has been with Bollinger Shipping Agency since 1983 and has built up a vast amount of experience. He is a most capable operator and co-ordinates all our export frieght movements out of Australia as well as our cartage and deliveries.

Mrs Heather Bollinger (Brian's wife) looks after the Accounts Department for Bollinger Shipping Agency. Heather was previously a Math's Teacher before joining Bollinger Shipping Agency.

 Jamie completed her Advanced Diploma in Business (Marketing) at Macleay College in 2005. She started working with Bollinger Shipping Agency in December 2006.

During Jamie's time at Bollingers she has moved from task to task within the company. She is currently assisting with  Sea Freight Consignments that have been arranged by Bollinger Shipping by collecting, checking and processing documents. Jamie helps ensure that Customs and Quarantine clearence problems are avoided by having the correct documents.

In July '08 Jamie commenced the CBFCA's Customs Brokers course (a two and a half year course ) to enable her to sit the national exam to become a licensed customs broker.

UPDATE: Jamie has recently married! We wish her well with her new husband, Brendan.

Ms Kennes Xue has been with the company since 2005. She assists in our Customs Clearance and Accounts sections and joined Bollingers after gaining valuable experience in the shipping industries. Kennes also speaks Mandarin & Cantonese.

Erica joined the company early in 2008 and works in our Inward Sea Freight Department. She processes the clearance of bills of lading through shipping companies, helps arrange cartage, checking of shipping documents, payment of shipping company charges and coordinates Interstate Shipments.

Zsolt Kollanyi has been with us since 2007. He is our delivery driver who is also our qualified film editor. Zsolt performs a host of duties and is our front man at the wharves, airport, bonds, in dealings with Customs, Quarantine, shipping companies etc as well as collecting and delivering freight. He comes with a vast experience in the transport industry.

Hirono looks after processing our accounts and data inputing. She comes from near Tokyo, Japan and is thus also fluent in Japanese.

Holly Carre started with us in June 2008, as our adminastative assistant and came to us with a background in fashion design. Holly is now pursuing studies in Accounting and works in the Accounts department at Bollinger Shipping Agency.

Simon Barlow started with us in June 2008. He has a Degree in Information Science and training in commerce. He has worked in various accounting firms and has experience in the logistics industry. Simon arranges Import Freight Forwarding for

Mr Mark Giles is our "locum" customs broker. He assists us from time to time when needed. He brings with him a wealth of experience in a wide range of fields. Mark has been a Customs Broker since 1993 and is an assosiated member of the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australila. Mark started his career at Londons' Heathrow Airport and has more than 20 years experience in both full time and tempory appointments.

Adam Bollinger is a registered Nurse and ambulance officer who helps as our relief driver when needed. Adam is Brian's son.

James Joiner is a highway patrol Police Officer who helps as our casual driver when needed.

Melanie is our part time clerical assistant and our Newcastle rep. She is currently studying for  her Bachelor of Education/Arts, Newcastle University. Mel is Barry's daughter.

Bonnie is our part-time archives manager and more importantly caters our Friday afternoon staff, friends and any passing clients BBQ and drinks. Bonnie is Barry's wife.
